How to get to the International Conference Center
Geneva Airport is located 15 minutes away from the international Conference Centre by public transport, or 10 minutes by taxi. Take the train (4 per hour) to the main Geneva station “Gare Cornavin” and then the tram (see below). Alternatively take bus 5 or 8 to the stop “Nations” (12 per hour) and then walk 2 minutes to Geneva’s International Conference Centre at 17 rue de Varembé. From the airport free of charge public transport tickets are available from the ticket machine in the luggage reclaim hall.
By Public Transport
Tram 15 (to “Nations”) will take you from the main Geneva railway station “Gare Cornavin” to the stop “Nations” in about five minutes. Then walk 2 minutes to Geneva’s International Conference Centre at 17 rue de Varembé. Trams run every five minutes during the day.
If you stay in a hotel, a youth hostel or a campsite in the canton, you will receive a “Geneva Transport Card” free of charge. With this card, public transport in Geneva is free for the full duration of your stay.
Geneva’s main train station, “Gare Cornavin”, has direct connections from many cities in Switzerland and France. The station is a 15-minute walk from Geneva’s International Conference Centre at 17 rue de Varembé; or take the tram (see above).
Geneva’s International Conference Centre has its own 24-hour public parking garage at 17 rue de Varembé.
